This is the live view of a new skin I recently made, and I will upload it tomorrow. Please note that the date on the journal title is hidden; I made it that way. It's not THAAAT important. Also there's no mood bar. Nobody uses that anymore DEAL WITH IT.
You can use:
- ↑ That top menu (do not put too many items in there). It uses the Sliding Doors technique, so it's adaptable to your monitor width.
- Headings

- Columns: two, three or four
- Scrollable box to put some long text or tons of thumbnails
- Float whatever element you want to the right or to the left

Now you can put avatars and whatever you want and the images won't have borders nor backgrounds because that is just for thumbnails!
I noticed that, when you put a transparent icon before, it looked something like this:
It looked bad and the borders and background just ruined the effect. Now the only thing they have is some transparency, take a look:
The blockquotes part!
What are blockquotes? Just blocks you use to quote, hehe
You can put long or tiny quotes here. Also you can put an author of the quote, just by adding a <span> tag.
