My contribution for the CSS Calendar Project! I hope you like it. :aww:

Live view here! :la:

About the top menu

To edit it, go to "Edit Skin", on the right part of the Sta.sh skin editor, and then, on the top part, you will have the code.

Where it says LINK 1/2/3, replace that with the url (for example: www.google.com).
Where it says ITEM 1/2/3, replace that with the title of the link (for example: "Google", "My Gallery" etc.)
HERE'S AN IMAGE IF YOU NEED HELP!

Do not delete anything else from there, just replace the two things I bolded above!

How to use headings:

Put any of the following codes:
<
h1>Text here</h1>
<
h2>Text here</h2>
<
h3>Text here</h3>
<
h4>Text here</h4>
<
h5>Text here</h5>
<
h6>Text here</h6>

Please be sure to add an extra linebreak after you use either an H2 heading or an H5 heading. :)

How to use blockquotes:

Put the following code:
<
blockquote>Text here</blockquote>

How to use lists:

Put the following code:
<
ul>
<
li>List Item</li>
<
li>List Item</li>
<
/ul>

Put as many list items you want. And to put an Ordered List, just replace "ul" with "ol"

Also, to add the different list bullets, just add a li2, li3, li4 or li5 class, like this:

<
li class="li2">List Item</li>

That item will appear with the second bullet shown. Change it to 3, 4 or 5 to see which bullet you like the most! :aww:

You can use two columns if you want,

just put the following code:
<
div class="halfCol">Text here</div><div class="halfCol">Text here</div>
<
div class="clear"></div>

To use three columns, put:

<
div class="thirdCol">Text here</div><div class="thirdCol">Text here</div><div class="thirdCol">Text here</div>
<
div class="clear"></div>

And to put four columns:

<
div class="fourthCol">Text here</div><div class="fourthCol">Text here</div><div class="fourthCol">Text here</div><div class="fourthCol">Text here</div>
<
div class="clear"></div>

Please: do not leave any space or linebreak between and

Also, do not remove the "clear" part.

To center something:

Put this code:
<
div class="center">Text, thumbnails, whatever you want here</div>

Other codes you can use:

To put links: <
a href="LINK HERE">Text or image</a>
To put an image: <
img src="IMAGE URL HERE" alt="" />
To put a separator: <
hr />

That's it! Please let me know if you have any problem using this skin, I will help you as much as I can! And again, I hope you like it! :aww:

Hello! Is there any way to prevent having boxed appear around community emoticons? It's fine with the standard dA ones, but anything that's been added is impossible to use without the box.

Uhm... I didn't think about that! Hahaha.
By any chance, have you posted a journal in which this issue is present? I would need to see the entry so I can inspect the code and give you the modification. :)

I hadn't, but I've just posted a tester journal: introverted-ghost.deviantart.c…

Oh, well, the borders are there because they are deviation thumbnails! I guess you could edit the code to remove all the borders on the images. Do the following:
  1. Go to the Edit Journal page
  2. Select the December 15 skin
  3. Click on Edit Skin
  4. Look for this portion of code
  5. Delete it! It should look like this
  6. Save and you're done
It should work, let me know if you have any other question! :)

I absolutely LOVE this skin but for some reason, I cannot figure out how to do these headers and links and such.  I put the codes in there... is there a special secret to getting them to work between here and there? This is my first time being premium so I'm not very skin savvy at the moment :/

Uhm... by any chance are you adding the codes by copypasting them? Some users here had problems using some features because they copied the codes I wrote there and pasted them directly on the journal, and the journal editor modified the codes and rendered them useless.
So if you write them you should be able to use them perfectly! :aww: (plus you learn some HTML if you don't know! lol)

If that doesn't work, please write a journal entry and post it so I can examine the code and try to determine what's going on. :D
